Haul: Amazing Primark Goodies

Last pay day I had a hospital appointment so I decided to cheer myself up with some window shopping. Well…that window shopping actually turned into a haul as soon as I stepped into Primark. The store was littered with items from their new A/W collection, and since Autumn is my favourite season I grabbed at everything and headed to the fitting rooms.
This season Primark are mixing fabrics (which I love) and are featuring some flattering cuts.
I didn’t end up buying everything I tried on but I did buy a few pieces.
I picked up:
+ A grey mixed fabric skater dress
+ Pyjama style ‘silk’ shorts
+ Velvet flatforms/platforms
+ Vintage style chain earrings
If I’d found a shirt too I’d have an entire outfit, right?
I love everything and I can’t wait to take some outfit shots for the blog.

Haul: Topshop & Primark

(Dress: Topshop, Necklace: Primark, Shoes: Primark)

Just a tiny haul post with some items I bought recently.
I needed a nice new Summer dress, some shoes to match and a bit of bling bling.
Well that is a lie because I already own the same necklace from Primark – this one is for my sister.
I genuinely love the jewellery Primark is releasing right now, from their regular & limited edition collections.
The majority of pieces are bold statement necklaces and earrings, and are perfect for pairing with tees etc.
I bought this necklace a couple of weeks ago for myself and I was tempted to buy another, in case I broke mine.
That probably seems a bit weird but I love this necklace to pieces…like I would literally wear it until it’s in pieces.
I know, I know, I have a serious problem when it comes to buying jewellery. I just can’t help it!
I haven’t posted a full on photo of the dress as you’ll find an outfit post featuring it on Saturday.
As for the shoes, they’re so simply chic and comfortable – the perfect pair of flats!

Tatty Devine Sample Sale Haul

My haul from the Tatty Devine Sample Sale

When I first heard that Tatty Devine were holding a sample sale I knew I had to go.
I didn’t think I would be able to actually, but thankfully things worked out so I could.
So I joined the queue early on a Saturday morning, and I felt quite chilled.
That all changed when we stepped into the store.
If you know their Brick Lane store well, you will also know that it is tiny.
It works perfectly well for Tatty, but it’s not the first place you’d go to hold a sample sale.
So it was a battle of the superfans as ladies (and gentleman alike) scavenged through the boxes.
It was a bit like a treasure hunt in a way, as everyone battled to find the one piece they had been after.
Seriously though, even though I kid about it being chaotic everyone was very bubbly and excited.
I also met a very lovely lady who I wish I’d exchanged info with – all I know of her is ‘Bridezilla on Wheels’.
Don’t worry though, this isn’t going to turn into a ‘We on a blustery morning in Brick Lane…’ post.
So what was I after? Well to be honest with you I didn’t really know. I just wanted to take a peek.
That meant it was even more enticing when I started finding classic pieces I wanted (but couldn’t justify at full price) and old items that I’d missed out on the first time round. So I put up with the pushing and general craziness to search for more hidden gems. And boy, did I find some hidden gems! My Tatty Devine collection is ever expanding, with pieces that reflect my interests & personal style – that’s what I love about Tatty Devine as a brand. In a nutshell? I’ll be back!

A Belated MUA Mini Haul

It’s been a while since I bought anything from MUA.
If you remember I became quite a fan after purchasing my first few items last year.
However, after a slight PR failure from the brand earlier in the year, I went off them.
I told myself that I would no longer buy from the website as the accounts I’d heard were not great.
So for several months I didn’t buy any MUA products, even though they had some promising products.
That changed a week or so ago when I was in a Superdrug and wanted some cheap eyeliner to play with.
I guess I knew that MUA was good quality at low prices, and their PR had definitely picked up.
What did I purchase?
1. Liquid Eyeliner – Shade 5
2. Glitter Eyeliner – Shade 10
3. Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter
4. Intense Colour Eyeliner Pencil – Snow White & Forest Green
I’ve used their liquid eyeliner before and even though I wasn’t impressed to start with, I’ve grown to like it.
As for their eyeliner pencils, the ones I had used previously didn’t really wow me with their colour.
The green however is quite nice and comes out well – I still have yet to test it out for a day though.
I’ve been after the shimmer highlighter for a while now and have read some good reviews on it.
As for the glitter eyeliner, well I don’t know what I was thinking, but at least it will add some glitz!
Let me know if you’d like to see reviews for any of these products.

Oasap Haul

My most recent Oasap order arrived this weekend.
I went on a bit of a mini accessories binge when I saw their new items.
I’d also had their baggy cat face sweater on my wishlist for a while so I popped that on my order too.
I was pretty excited to receive this order, and luckily I only had to wait just over a week.
The shipping from Oasap is usually pretty good and my orders tend to arrive in about 10 days.
Apparently this is also the exact amount of time it takes for me to forget what I ordered…everytime. At this point I’d like to give a shout-out to Sami who inspired me to order the watch, as she has a similar one that I fell in love with recently!
I haven’t had the chance to wear the sweater yet, but I did try on the jewellery and watch.
Unfortunately the watch and bracelet are slightly too big for me, a common problem I have.
I could get some of the links removed in the watch, but the bracelet is a hard bangle so I can’t do much to it.
Online shopping is always a gamble anyway, so I wasn’t upset – plus the necklace looks amazing on!
You win some, you lose some, I guess.

Teeny Tiny Haul: Lisa Angel

You may remember my last post on Lisa Angel.
Well since then the brand has been growing and growing.
I’m always so proud to see local brands do well, so it means a lot to me.
I’ve known the brand since they first started up, which was quite a while ago.
My friend who works for them was kind enough to send me a couple of items recently.
I’m a big fan of rose gold lately, and after my rings from Whistles turned sour I needed some new ones.
I was lucky enough to spot these rose gold stack rings on the website, which were exactly what I wanted.
I thought the little ‘Live, Love, Dance, Sing’ motifs written around the individual rings was a lovely touch.
I’ll probably be wearing these altogether as a set, as I like to overindulge like that.
The second item was this beautifully petite semi-precious Lapis necklace.
A lot of the semi-precious jewellery I own are statement pieces, which means I don’t really layer them.
That may sound odd but I’ve been after something delicate, that I could layer with other necklaces.
Lapis is probably one of my favourite stones for this as the deep blue really stands out, especially against gold.
This may soon become my ‘go-to’ everyday necklace.
I had a lot of fun photographing these as the times and packaging were so cute.
Can I just be a jewellery photographer now please?!
You can receive 20% off at Lisa Angel until 31st March with code: ‘bloomzy’.

MUA Cosmetics ‘Berry’ Haul

MUA Cosmetics Berry Themed Haul

Slowly the word ‘haul’ is growing on me, though I feel out of necessity more than love.
Anyway, I feel it suits these kind of posts where I’d just be saying ‘a bunch of stuff I bought from MUA’ instead.
Some of you may know that recently MUA hit 35,000 likes on Facebook and with every 5,000 likes they do a promotion.
This time the promotion was 35% off and free shipping – that’s absolutely amazing, right?
What did I buy?
Brow Kit
You probably noticed already that there is a general theme here. I love the current berry trend especially worn on the lips, so I choose a couple of lipsticks and glosses, as well as some nail polishes to go along with the trend. I had wanted to buy a bunch of stuff from MUA but I decided to wait until they had another promotion. I’m so glad I did because I was able to grab everything I wanted, and more! I’m really happy with all the items.
That’s £14 worth of products for only £9.10, with free shipping – bargain!
