Wish List: EMODA

A selection of items from the EMODA Global Webstore

Emoda is a brand that I have been a fan of for several years.
Based in Japan, they have now opened up their global webstore (in English).
This means that fans outside of Japan, and newcomers can buy and order items to their country.
When the store first launched it was filled with mostly basic items, but since the opening more items have been added. The store still doesn’t feature the full collection that you might see in-store/on the Japanese webstore, but it is slowly building up. It’s likely that more pieces will be added if the team see a market for it.
The webstore also offers members the chance to collect points, much like you would be able to do in-store. After you have accrued over 500 points you can spend them on any future purchase you make – 500 points = 500yen discount.
The reason I choose the items I did is because they were cute basics that I could easily coordinate with my own items. To be honest I already have a necklace exactly like the Emoda one, but I still wouldn’t mind adding it to my collection. My favourite pieces have to be the mixed texture t-shirt and the floral print dress. They both really stood out to me.
You can browse Emoda’s new global webstore here.

Wish List: Best of British

Best of British

Best of British by bloomzy Ok so I may not be a Royalist, and I won’t be celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee…
However I am proud to be British, and I do like limited edition, special occasion items.
I’ve been gazing through windows at the decorations in stores, and the items they’re offering.
So I thought since it’s the Jubilee weekend, I would do an extra special wishlist!

With all the current hype around the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, tons of brands have been bringing out limited edition items to celebrate the occasion. This means lots of British brands are showing how proud they are, although that hasn’t stopped a lot of non-British brands also having some fun. Hey, it’s a party & everyone is invited!

The items I choose for this wishlist are items I would happily buy/wear any time of the year!
I love the selection of items, from Union Flag cupcake decorations to red, white & blue nail polish.
Although the Markus Lupfer’ Crown Sweater, the ‘Not for Ponies’ Corgi T-shirt & the ‘Nails Inc’ Jubilee Crystal Colour Polish have to be my favourites…Oh who am I kidding? I want everything!!

Wish List: H&M Fashion Against Aids Collection

H&M Fashion Against Aids Collection

This year H&M’s Fashion Against Aids Collection is back with a bang!
This time round inspiration comes from several continents (South America being the most prominent) and the tribal print trend, with some fringe and dip-dying thrown in just for fun. According to H&M “special prints were commissioned from international artists and illustrators for this collection to create pieces bursting with colour, pattern and authenticity.”

Once I saw the collection I automatically started putting together a wishlist.
I think my favourites have to be the fringe top & kimono jacket (pictured above).
I also love that 25% of all sales from the collection will go towards a variety of international youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects. More big name brands should also jump on the bandwagon!

The collection is released on the 26th April.
Check out more images of the items that will be available,
and the charities that will be helped with your money – here.

Wish List: Wandering Minds

Wandering Minds is a new webstore set up by a group of friends.
The items in the store have been hand-picked by the girls themselves, who have flown to
some amazing fashion capitals, such as Seoul, Tokyo, and Paris.
In fact, they travel all year long, finding new emerging designers.
I think you can tell why this store called out to me.
Fashion + Travel = ♥

The items from their new ‘Seoul Collection‘ feature some wonderful basics that would suit most styles.
As you probably guessed, these items are from Korean designers. The girls chose these as they loved the simple, but effortlessly fashionable looks they saw on the streets of Seoul. I personally, want their job!!
To me, the looks are reminiscent of American Apparel, Topshop and some of the stores on Gmarket.
I definitely want to add all of the above items to my wardrobe!
You can shop the collections here.

Wish List: Topshop & Regal Rose

Topshop 2

Regal Rose
Regal Rose by bloomzy featuring green jewelry

Just a couple of Wishlists, this time from specific stores; Topshop & Regal Rose
I think the Topshop wishlist proves that I do like colours other than black, I just need to take the plunge and actually add them to my wardrobe. Maybe this Summer will be different!
I definitely can’t live without the bralets & studded sweater. I think I’ll have to make a trip to Manchester next month to check out the Topshop there as the one here didn’t have any of them.

The Regal Rose pieces are items I’ve been lusting after for a while.
I love their store, and I know I would get good wear out of their jewellery.
I haven’t ordered from them before, and their prices aren’t bad, I just worry about quality.
That said I’ve only heard good things about them, so maybe I should just go for it.

If you have Polyvore, you can find me here.

Wish List: ASOS Mexican Rave Collection

ASOS Mexican Rave Collection

Are you beginning to see a bit of a trend with my ‘wishlists‘ lately?
Once again, I have been drooling over a Mexican-inspired collection.
This time it’s asos, and I have to admit that this is probably the best collection I’ve seen yet.
My favourite pieces have to be the tops, with a selection of cuts and loud prints to match.
Although my love for denim hot pants means that their shorts come a close second.
I also know I’d never wear it, but I kinda love the sweat combo (top right).
I love their use of prints. They’ve made sure to keep them appealing, unique and on-point.
Stylish, urban and colourfulI just want to add everything to my wardrobe!
Whatever your personal style I think there’s a little something for everyone.
Prices range from £6 to £250. You can shop the collection here.

Wish List: Tatty Devine S/S 2012 Collection

Tatty Devine S/S 2012

Tatty Devine S/S 2012 by bloomzy

It’s not often that I place an entire collection in my wishlist.
Yet that’s exactly what I found myself doing when I spent the afternoon on Tatty Devine’s website…yes an entire afternoon. The new S/S Collection is inspired by Mexico, and features iconic images such as Frida Kahlo. I couldn’t have asked for more!

My affair with Tatty Devine started about 8 years ago when I stepped foot into their flagship, Brick Lane store. I remember watching the ladies and gents hard at work as I perused through their goods. I bought a pair of frilly, cherry panties, which were expertly wrapped and presented to me in one of their stylish boxes…I never looked back.

My love for South America (namely Mexico) and Frida Kahlo are obviously what drew me to this collection originally. I love the vibrant colours and the use of imagery; sugar skulls, parakeets and flowers. The collection has something for everyone, whether you’re a lover of Mexican culture or not. It truly is bold and beautiful.

Prices range from £20, to £260 for the Posie Garland necklace, which was featured in Vogue.
You can shop the collection here.
