OOTD: Embellish Me

(Sweater: Oasap*, Shirt: The Lazy Ones, Jeans: Primark)

This is one of my favourite pairings of late.
I wore this sweater & shirt combo last week and had so many compliments on it.
It’s pretty simple but I love the pop of blue & silver embellishments that make it a little bit different.
One lady said I had ‘a unique sense of fashion’ – even though that might have been a bit overzealous, I appreciated it.
I think you all know of my love for The Lazy Ones by now.
Well this is the ‘other shirt‘ to the green one that I wore for my birthday.
It’s such a gorgeous regal blue, and I love the way the silver compliments the collar tips.
I think it works perfectly well worn by itself, but it adds a little something extra to a sweater when worn underneath.
For example, when worn under my super comfy and very loveable Paris Sweater from Oasap!
I can’t get over how well this has worn, after wearing it pretty much non-stop since I got it.
It’s not just cute but also really comfy & warm, perfect for our terrible English weather.
Finally, I invested in a pair of blue denim jeans, rather than black – shock!

OOTD: Bright & Bold

(Jumper: The Lazy Ones, Skirt: Internacionale, Boots: Oasap*, Necklace: Tatty Devine, Hat: Topshop)
Ok, you got me, this is actually Saturday’s outfit of the day.
I wanted to show off my name necklace before I posted this, so…
As I was heading to the Tatty Devine workshop I wanted to dress accordingly.
That meant neon and gold, as I was going to be creating my own neon & gold creation.
Of course, my new cropped jumper from The Lazy Ones had to make an appearance.
I paired it with my crazy black & gold  Hieroglyph pencil skirt from Internacionale.
And my new amazingly gorgeous gold toed boots from Oasap.
All in all I think I carried off the theme quite well.
I also made an amazing new necklace to add to my collection.
Stay tuned for another post this week, featuring it!

Introducing: The Lazy Ones

The Lazy Ones
I briefly mentioned my new favourite store The Lazy Ones in this post.
Their items are made and sourced in London, which is a pretty big deal in my opinion.
The flagship store on Brick Lane, has been opened since 2004 and is run by Nat & Diego (makers of the womenswear fashion label Des Moines). Brick Lane/Shoreditch is the an amazing place for a boutique to be located and TLO suits the area well. I love to browse the stores on Brick Lane and then stop by Fika (for some Fika) and rest my weary legs.
Why do I enjoy visiting The Lazy Ones? Because I always happen to find something new!
Not only that, but I always find a bunch of items to fall in love with, which is not an easy task.
The clothes and accessories you’ll find in TLO are unique, yet on-trend, and very eye catching.
I choose some of my personal favourites above, which you can find online and in-store.
Des Moines has attracted stars such as Beyonce, Alexa Chung and Kate Moss.
So if you fancy taking a peek in their gorgeous boutique, you can find them here.
Alternatively you can browse their online store here.

OOTD: Green with Envy

(Shirt: The Lazy Ones, Skirt: Miss Selfridge, Necklace: Tatty Devine)

I decided to go all green for my birthday meal last night.
I was joined by some lovely friends, some of whom included Randa, Dodo, Emmie and of course, the fiancé.
We headed to The Hawksmoor as I’d heard good things, and we fancied some tasty meat.
The food and atmosphere was amazing, and our waiter was lovely.
I felt like letting my classy side out for the event…it does exist, I promise you.
So I went with this gorgeous shirt, which I picked up from The Lazy Ones on Brick Lane.
I absolutely loved the detailing and colour of the shirt, so much that I bought it in two colours!
TLO is probably one of my favourite stores right now, as I always manage to find something there.
I paired the shirt with my new Tatty Devine necklace, another birthday gift, from family.
I really loved this outfit and I think it was all made by this shirt.
