Shoetastic – ECCO

ECCO is already a well-established shoe brand in the UK and across the world.
Combining style and comfort, they follow the motto “the shoe must follow the foot.”
That’s easy with ECCO, because they own and manage every step of the shoemaking process.
With their shoes on sale in over 90 countries, fashion can easily meet function.
The latest edition to ECCO is the Sculptured 65 Collection.
The shoe itself blends sexy with the everyday, boasting a comfortable 6.5cm high heel.
Coming in: shoes, booties and boots in a range of colours, as well as both leather and patent leather.
Available in sizes EU 35-42, it’s as if there’s almost too much choice.
I personally styled my pair with some bright florals and my favourite pleated leather skirt.
I also decided to have a little bit of fun and pick out some key A/W pieces, which I’d love to pair with the boots.
I think this particular pair of boots would work great with both a feminine or rock style, but I love combining both.
A mixture of textures, colours and accessories compliments the boots perfectly.
How would you style a pair of shoes from the Sculptured 65 Collection?
The collection is in stores from August 2012 – so hurry out and pick up yours now!
You can also shop online, via the ECCO site.

OOTD: Denim Lady

(Denim Shirt: Primark, Dress: Topshop, Shoes: Urban Outfitters, Accessories: Topshop & Urban Outfitters)

On Saturday I went for coffee and brunch with my younger sister, and then to a surprise party.
Since one of the events was casual, and the other a bit more dressy, I decided to put together an outfit that would fit both occassions but not look odd at either. Well, I think I accomplished that – I wore my tiered lace dress (dressy) and paired it with a denim shirt (casual), and some hipster-esque accessories.
I hope you’re enjoying the more ‘commercial’ photo on the left.
I picked up some delicious special bread from the deli (thanks Toni & Gaby) and had to pose with it.
I know, I know, don’t give up the day job – the bread may outshine me but it had to be done.
Also, as a bonus – a make-up shot!
I don’t often include them but I also wanted to show off the earrings a bit more.
A few people on Instagram shared their love for them – they’re from Urban Outfitters.

For the love of shoes!

Recently I’ve been on a bit of a shoe binge.
Usually I buy shoes that are practical, and only when I need a pair.
However over the last few weeks I’ve found myself becoming a bit obsessed with shoes.
In the last month I’ve bought/been bought 6 pairs of shoes.
Ok that probably doesn’t seem like much for the average shoeholic, but it is for me!
As I said before, I tend to only buy shoes when I need them, rather than want them.
So I started wondering why my shopping habits have changed so much recently.
Well, it’s pretty simple actually; the stores are bringing out some gorgeous shoes this season!
That, and some online shoe stores are having some amazing sales.
I’m currently in love with the leopard head court heels pictured above, from Oasap.
They’re just the right amount of glam and attitude, with a small heel so they’re comfortable and cute.

My favourite stores for shoes (& sales!) right now are: OasapRiver IslandDaisy Street and ASOS.
Don’t forget to visit Oasap and use discount code: ‘bloomzy’ for 35% off!

Recent Fashion ‘Haul’

(Underwear & Sandals: Topshop, Blouse: Internacionale, T-shirt: Zara)

I thought I might share with you some of the fashion items I’ve been buying recently.
Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of these in my outfit shots from my holiday as that is why I bought most of them…except for the underwear, be surprised if you see those. To be honest I’d be surprised too.
Apart from a few poor pairs that I’ve bought in the past, Topshop underwear has to be my favourite.
I’m so picky about patterns and shapes etc. that I find it difficult to actually find underwear that matches what I am looking for. Topshop never fails to please in this aspect though. I always end up buying one in each type and pattern. I just wish they did matching bras in my size, but I don’t think that will ever be a reality in Topshop.
I also like their shoes, as they’re always pretty, although sometimes overpriced – luckily I grabbed these sandals in the sale for only £15. It may not be sandal weather in England right now, but hopefully it will be whilst I am away on holiday.
Finally I picked up the blouse from the Internacionale sale, and the Zara top from their sale. The Zara top was actually to replace a very similar one that the fiancé bought me in Paris, that I accidentally ruined. The blouse was because I was drawn to the colour, buttons and the cut-out shoulders. It’s incredibly sheer though, so I’ll have to figure that out.
It’s just a shame that I probably won’t get much use out of the blouse and sandals when I return.
Unless the weather changes dramatically that is, not that I would complain!

Wish List: H&M and Topshop

Top row: H&M, Bottom row: Topshop

I haven’t done a wishlist for a little while, which is surprising because I’m sure I always have one in mind.
Anyway, this time I decided to feature two stores that I have been impressed with recently, one being H&M, the other Topshop. Now in the last few years I’ve pretty much always been a ‘fan’ of Topshop – they’re constantly bringing out pieces I can’t wait to add to my collection. However, I’ve found that my love for H&M in recent months has faded slightly.
It’s sad to say, but the stores I’ve been visiting just haven’t won me over with their collections.
However I was pleasantly surprised when I went into the Norwich H&M recently. They are back on form!
As for the wishlist itself this time I picked items that I can definitely see in my wardrobe, rather than those I just wish I could add to it. So these are all items that are reasonably priced, which I could coordinate easily.
The ‘Peplum’ trend looks like it will be going through to A/W and I’m pleased as it’s a cute, flattering shape. I’m also enjoying bursts of colour (love that royal blue!) to help brighten up an outfit. The rest are all just items that I want to play around with – especially the Mary Janes, and the denim shorts with suspenders attached.
I hope I can hurry up and get a job asap so I can BUY ALL THE CLOTHES!

OOTD: London Edition

Left – Blazer: H&M | T-shirt & Shorts: Topshop | Shoes: Asos | Necklace: Topshop
Right – Blazer: H&M | Top: Zara | Skinny Jeans: Primark | Shoes: Asos | Necklace: Topshop

Here are a couple of my outfits from my recent London trip. I actually had about 4 outfits for the trip, but I was so busy I didn’t manage to get photos of them all. I could have drawn these out and made two separate posts, but I figured one was enough.
At the moment I really love pairing basics together with cute accessories. So I decided on a couple of simple outfits as I wasn’t sure what the weather would be like. As it turned out the weather was a bit chilly for the first couple of days, and then it got pretty hot. I also knew that I would be doing a lot of walking, so I didn’t want anything too awkward.

I think I’ve got enough wear out of my Topshop necklace already! I’m so glad I bought it – I love it so much. I wear it as often as I can. I feel a little bad for all my other necklaces, but they’ll get their turn soon enough.

Current Inspiration

Please excuse the mess that is me piling a bunch of photos together.
I just wanted to visualise some of my current inspirations, which are:
Girly mixed with boyish, patterned tights, flowers, bright colours, gradients, feminine lingerie,
monochrome, black on black, gold, pearls and studs, polka dots, orange & white,
stiletto nails, comfy t-shirts, petals, purple, brightly coloured food and pastels.
As you can see my inspirations don’t just come from fashion or beauty. Of course when I say inspiration it doesn’t necessarily mean fashion-wise. I love surrounding myself with things that inspire me, and I think that does ultimately translate into my personal style, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t take inspiration for other aspects of my life.
These images are not mine, and were taken from my Tumblr, Style Saint & Pinterest.
Feel free to add me on any or all.
