OOTD: Pistachio Ice Cream

Shirt: H&M | Top: Glamorous* | Vest: Topshop | Skirt: Glamorous* | Heels: Primark | Necklace: Swarovski

Here is my outfit from yesterday, my final day of university. It’s the end of an era, which will finally see me step out into the real world.

I am in love with the colour of this skirt! It’s a pastel mint green. The whole outfit reminds me of pistachio ice cream for some reason – yummy. Glamorous have some amazing pastel coloured skirts right now and I keep drooling over them all. I decided to pair it with a this lace see-through top and some old heels, as it just seemed to fit the mood. Can you believe it? An outfit with no black!! I’m so proud of myself. I think the end of university has awoken Summer inside me…or something like that.

OOTD: Just Peachy

Sweater & Dress: OASAP* | Shoes: Urban Outfitters

The lovely people at OASAP and I are now collaborating and this outfit was provided by them.
I have exams today but I figured at least I can look good whilst I sit in a cold hall for 3 hours. Anyway, I loved the look of this sweater-dress combo (they come as a pair, and can be separated) as soon as I laid eyes on it. I have a thing for cut-out shoulder shirts and sweaters right now, and peach. This look just seemed casual but cute and that’s pretty much how I always try to dress. I also like the idea that I could take the sweater off at night, throw some accessories on and I could easily wear it – maybe out to dinner or for drinks, rather than a club though. The earrings are also from Oasap. If you remember I had some from Topshop on my wishlist. Cute! I can’t wait for it to get warmer so I can wear this outfit more often.
I always worry about buying online, especially from Asian websites as I have a large chest. However the sizing was perfect, it fit well and was very comfortable. It was also pretty cheap at $29 with free worldwide shippingThe only drawback is that it’s short. I’m just 5’3 (and it’s ok) but anyone over that would probably be showing some booty.
Don’t forget to visit Oasap and use discount code: ‘bloomzy’ for 35% off!

OOTD: Yesterday’s Choice

Tshirt: Topshop | Shorts: Topshop | Bracelet: H&M | Necklace: Topshop

As you can probably guess from the title, this was yesterday’s outfit. I was planning on posting it on the day, but forgot that I had scheduled the Astalift reviewI’m sure you guys don’t mind it being one day late, right?

After I wrote up the shop list, I realised that I look like a bit of a walking advertisement for Topshop. I can promise you that it wasn’t intentional. I’m not a fan of people dressing head to toe in one brand. The sun peaked its head out yesterday so I wanted to put together a shorts and tee combo, and this happened. Nothing really behind this outfit. I just wanted something casual for a 3 hour lecture. 3 hours! As I’m writing this on Wednesday, and scheduling it for Thursday, here’s hoping the lecture doesn’t bore me to death.
By the way, the necklace is currently in the Topshop sale, for only £3.50!

OOTD: King Kattius

T-shirt Dress: eBay | Leggings: Republic | Shoes: Asos

Please give a warm welcome to King Kattius. The fiance felt that since the cat was so prominent on my t-shirt/dress he deserved a name…ok. I have been anticipating the arrival of this t-shirt after I bought it on a whim a couple of weeks ago. The t-shirt is from FUNNYGLAM, the clothing line by Korean designer Jung-hee Jung. I bought it from his eBay store – you can find a link to the listing under the picture.
It’s quite big and baggy for a t-shirt, which is how it’s supposed to be, hence me calling it a dress. I am quite tiny but I didn’t feel engulfed by it, and I think it would fit most sizes comfortably. I’d love to see it on a taller person!
Galaxy print + giant cat-king = can’t go wrong!

OOTD: Mode Foremost

Dress: Juriano Jurrie | Shorts: H&M | Wedges: Internacionale | Earrings: Topshop

Oh my gosh, she’s wearing white!!
Yes, I have outdone myself by using white in this outfit, although I did have to add some black. I’m not a fan of white dresses actually. I think they look nice, but I’m always scared of getting them dirty. Amazingly, I managed to overcome that fear today so I could wear this. It’s one of my favourite items. The shape is very flattering and I always feel comfortable and stylish in it, even though it’s a pretty simple piece. Of course that also means that it’s always in season – lucky me!
I wasn’t sure whether to post a full body pic today, as my cheeks are a little swollen & puffy. Yesterday I had an horrendous tooth ache all day, even after visiting the emergency dentist. He managed to fix things temporarily, but the anaesthetic & medicine wore off straight away (a problem I’ve had since I was little) so I was in pain for most of the day. Hence the lack of posts. It’s feeling a bit better today, let’s hope it lasts!

OOTD: Boux Avenue Event

Blazer: H&M | Top: H&M | Jeans: Primark | Shoes: Internacionale

So here is my outfit from yesterday’s Boux Avenue event. Unfortunately I was so rushed going to the event, and doing errands afterwards that I forgot to take an outfit photo until the end of the day. Actually my eye has swollen again (I think it’s my No.7 eye make-up remover, even though it’s new!) and it started yesterday afternoon, hence the lack of eyes in the above photo.
The top I bought last week in H&M – I absolutely adore the print! I’ve had quite a few compliments already and it’s the first time I’ve worn it, so it’s an automatic hit in my eyes! I just wanted something warm (think pouring rain) and smart. I think it worked out ok.
Anyway, I have to rush back on the train to uni today. Another 5 and a half hours stuck on trains, only for me to have early classes tomorrow. I have been so exhausted over the last few days, so I do apologise for my online absence.
I will be posting the photos from the event either on Friday, or at the weekend!

OOTD: Feeling Vintage

Top: H&M | Skirt: Vintage | Heels: H&M

Today’s outfit is just something simple and practical. I have a 6 hour train journey ahead of me tonight, so I don’t want anything too heavy or uncomfortable. I don’t know about other people, but I hate wearing too many layers, too much jewellery or having my hair up when travelling long distances. It’s a weird thing of mine, but it just helps me relax a bit more. I sound crazy, right?

This top should probably win an award for the amount of times it has featured on here. I promise I do own other items…Anyway, the top was bought in H&M whilst I was in Paris, and the skirt is vintage – bought in my local Topshop about 5 years ago when they had a special ‘vintage rail’. How authentic it is I don’t know, but to me it has the comfort and style that only older pleated skirts have. Not that I’m an expert on the topic.
I will schedule some posts during the next few days, whilst I’m away. I’ll also hopefully be ‘live tweeting’ from the event I am heading home for. For now Au Revoir!
