OOTD: Eye See You

Top* – Oasap | Skirt – Zara | Shoes – Primark | Watch – Marc by Marc Jacobs

Yesterday saw some amazing weather finally come our way. I was thinking of heading out in nude tights even – the thought of it! Anyway, it was so lovely that I ended up walking around in just this all day.
My new eye top from Oasap got plenty a compliment. I know it’s a cheeky Kenzo ‘dupe’ but I kinda love it, and it’s so fun. It’s colourful and quirky, and the little collar and sleeve detail are super cute. I’m also very much in love with my wrap new skirt from Zara – isn’t it amazing? Zara are bringing out some amazing styles and cuts this season, and at great prices. I’ve been pairing this skirt with odd jumpers so it was nice to finally get my arms out. Showing a little skin aside, I paired the outfit with my new shoes from Primark. These are really simple but I love the style and the royal blue they used. These will look so much better once I finally get my legs out again.

OOTD: London Fashion Week – Sick Day

Jacket – H&M | Dress – Topshop | Boots* – UGG | Backpack – Zara | Necklace – Primark | Watch – Marc by Marc Jacobs

I was pretty sad I didn’t get to make it to London Fashion Week this season. I’m not a massive fan of catwalks but I do enjoy seeing everyone’s street style. I had been hoping to pop down and take some photos of everyone this time round. Unfortunately I’m stuck inside and have been told not to go out by my doctor. I did go out for 5 minutes though as I really wanted to make an outfit post.
UGG recently sent me over a pair of their boots to keep me comfy and warm this LFW. Whereas unfortunately I won’t be able to run about Somerset House in them, I still love them. I’ve never owned a pair of UGG boots before, mainly due to seeing so many poor rip-offs on the high-street. After wearing these Classic Leather UGG Boots though I can definitely see what all the fuss is about. They’re incredibly comfortable and looked cute worn with my striped Topshop Drop Waist Tunic Dress. Of course I choose to accessorise with a few bits of bling here and there, and my new Zara backpack. I’m so in love with how fashionable, yet functional this backpack is – well done Zara!
Did you head to London Fashion Week?
Send me your links to your street snaps, as I’d love to see them!

OOTD: When in France…

Knit – Zara | Trousers – Uniqlo | Shoes – New Look @ ASOS | Backpack* – Oasap
Ok now raise your hands if you hate packing for a holiday! Just me? Oh well, I just never seem to know what to pack to go away. I always end up with a random variety of clothes, accessories and shoes. I guess it’s because I don’t like planning outfits, as I know it depends on my mood. This Zara knit seemed perfect for my holiday in France though, not bad for a charity shop find, ey? I paired it with my Uniqlo legging trousers because they’re so comfy and chilled – perfect for casual walking. It’s quite a thin knit so I’ve been able to wear it by itself, as the weather is lovely and a jacket isn’t needed. Paired with my new backpack (that can also be used as a handbag) from Oasap, I am ready to go!

Recent Fashion ‘Haul’

(Underwear & Sandals: Topshop, Blouse: Internacionale, T-shirt: Zara)

I thought I might share with you some of the fashion items I’ve been buying recently.
Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of these in my outfit shots from my holiday as that is why I bought most of them…except for the underwear, be surprised if you see those. To be honest I’d be surprised too.
Apart from a few poor pairs that I’ve bought in the past, Topshop underwear has to be my favourite.
I’m so picky about patterns and shapes etc. that I find it difficult to actually find underwear that matches what I am looking for. Topshop never fails to please in this aspect though. I always end up buying one in each type and pattern. I just wish they did matching bras in my size, but I don’t think that will ever be a reality in Topshop.
I also like their shoes, as they’re always pretty, although sometimes overpriced – luckily I grabbed these sandals in the sale for only £15. It may not be sandal weather in England right now, but hopefully it will be whilst I am away on holiday.
Finally I picked up the blouse from the Internacionale sale, and the Zara top from their sale. The Zara top was actually to replace a very similar one that the fiancé bought me in Paris, that I accidentally ruined. The blouse was because I was drawn to the colour, buttons and the cut-out shoulders. It’s incredibly sheer though, so I’ll have to figure that out.
It’s just a shame that I probably won’t get much use out of the blouse and sandals when I return.
Unless the weather changes dramatically that is, not that I would complain!
